Naples, May 5, 2023 – Dragon Horse Agency is proud to announce that Co-Founder and Chief Strategy Officer P. Blake Renda, has been selected for the second year in a row as a 2023 finalist for Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year by the SBDC Florida at Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU)
The Distinguished Entrepreneur Awards of SWFL is an award given by the SBDC of Florida and is held annually to celebrate entrepreneurial excellence in Southwest Florida. Southwest Florida Small Business entrepreneurs who have attained notable achievements and success in entrepreneurship are recognized during this auspicious occasion. 2023 marks the 11th annual celebration of local entrepreneurs.
Mr. Renda was grateful to be nominated for the Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year award for the second time in a row. He felt honored to be among the many talented and hardworking entrepreneurs in Southwest Florida. He acknowledged the support and guidance of his family, colleagues, and friends in achieving this recognition. Mr. Renda quoted Winston Churchill, saying that “success is not permanent and failure is not fatal, but it is the courage to keep going that is important.” Mr. Renda expressed his deep appreciation for the recognition.
Winners were announced during an awards ceremony on Tuesday, May 2nd, 2023, at the Spanish Wells Country Club. Acknowledging the achievements of Distinguished Entrepreneurs is vital, and local economies rely on small businesses for employment and community well-being. The accomplishments of these entrepreneurs are imperative to prosperity in Southwest Florida.
